Art Design: Bubble carded action figure with illustrations of the entire set on the back of the card along with the character's power grid card that shows her intelligence, strength, speed, durability, energy projection, and fighting skills. Under the power grid is listed the height, weight, eyes, and hair color.
Variants: X-23 was issued in two versions. One has a purple bodysuit and an angry face, and this variant has a black bodysuit with a serious look.
X-Men 451 is included with this set. It is an early appearance of X-23 in which she attacks the X-Men and Wolverine because she was created to kill him. This reprinted Marvel Comics comic book has a new cover painting than what was originally published.
Headsculpt: X-23 has a sad, thoughtful look on her face. She looks like a sullen teenage girl. The purple version looks a bit more angry than this one. Both faces express emotion very well.
Articulation: Like most of the Marvel Legends figures, X-23 has over 35 points of articulation. Blades can be flipped out from under her boots and she can be posed in a variety of odd angles. This figure is well balanced and easily stands on her own.
Paint Application: The bodysuit looks great, but the light blue painted stripes on her arm guantlets is a bit sloppy. The brown hair has different shades which give her an interesting, weathered look. The rubber hair is soft and it allows her to move her head around.
Market: These figures are available for $8.-9. at most retail stores that sell toys.
Grade: B
